Approved Academic Calendar For 2013/2014 Session

Members of the University community and the general public are hereby informed of the Senate approved Academic Calendar for 2013/2014 session as follows:

 Sunday, 2nd March, 2014 -  Fresh Student come into Halls of Residence
 Monday, 3rd March, 2014 -  Fresh students resume and continue with clearance and Registration
 Monday, 17th March, 2014 -  Orientation for fresh students.
 Tuesday, 18th March, 2014 -  End of Orientation for fresh students
 Wednesday, 19th March, 2014 -  Commencement of Lectures for fresh students
 Sunday, 23rd March, 2014 -  Old students come into Halls of Residence
 Monday, 24th March, 2014 -  Business Committee meets to consider results
 Wednesday, 26th March, 2014 -  Senate meets to consider Results
 Monday, 31st March, 2014 -  First Semester Lecture/Normal Course Registration begin
 Monday, 14th April, 2014 -  Normal Course Registration for students end
 Wednesday, 16th April, 2014 -  MATRICULATION
 Friday, 25th April, 2014 -  Late Course Registration for all students end
 Monday, 5th May, 2014 -  Mid Semester Test
 Friday, 30th May, 2014 -  First Semester Lectures end
 Friday, 6th June, 2014 -  First Semester Examinations begin with GST Courses
 Friday, 20th June, 2014 -  First Semester Examinations end

 Monday, 7th July, 2014 -  Second Semester Lectures begin
 Monday, 11th August, 2014 -  Mid Semester Test

 Friday, 19th September, 2014 -  Second Semester Examinations begin with GST Course
 Friday, 10th October, 2014 -  Second Semester Examinations end
 Friday, 24th October, 2014 -  Faculty Boards of Examiners meet to consider results
 Friday, 7th November to
 Friday, 14th November, 2014
-  Business Committee of Senate meet to consider results
 Monday, 10th November to
 Wednesday, 12th November, 2014
-  Extra Ordinary meetings of Senate to consider results/End of Session.
