The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sir I.A. Onimawo and his wife, Lady Jane Onimawo along with other Principal Officers of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma on Sunday, 28th August, 2016 were hosted at the Thanksgiving/Bazaar ceremony of St. Benedict Monastery, Ewu, Esan Central Local Government.
The Thanksgiving ceremony started with the Thanksgiving Mass at 11.00 a.m. followed by the Bazaar.
The Thanksgiving/Bazaar which was organized by the Oblates of St. Benedict Monastery had as its Chairman, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sir I.A. Onimawo. In his address, the Vice-Chancellor thanked God for the opportunity to be part of the Annual Thanksgiving/Bazaar of the Monastery.
He thanked the Prior of the Monastery, Prior Peter Ewarudjakpor and the Oblates of St. Benedict, led by Prof. G.U. Agbeboh for giving him, his family and the Principal Officers and members of the University the opportunity to contribute to God’s work in the Monastery.
Prof. I.A. Onimawo, his wife Lady Jane Onimawo and the Principal Officers on behalf of their families made donations for the construction of the Guest Centre of the Monastery.
Also present at the Thanksgiving/Bazaar were other staff of Ambrose Alli University and members of the Oblates of St. Benedict from various Zones across the country.
