The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sir I.A. Onimawo and his wife, Lady Jane Onimawo along with other Principal Officers of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma on Sunday, 28th August, 2016 were hosted at the Thanksgiving/Bazaar ceremony of St. Benedict Monastery, Ewu, Esan Central Local Government.
The Thanksgiving ceremony started with the Thanksgiving Mass at 11.00 a.m. followed by the Bazaar.
The August, 2016 edition of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Health Walk was held on August 26, 2016.
The Health Walk kicked off on schedule at 9.00 a.m. from the Vice-Chancellor’s quadrangle. The Vice-Chancellor. Prof. I.A. Onimawo gave a brief health charge highlighting the benefits of regular exercising and to keep people reminded of this beneficial practice.
The Prof. I.A. Onimawo’s administration has invited GLO Nigeria and MTN Nigeria into campus for the improvement of internet services in the University in order to arrest the problem of epileptic reception and inadequate bandwidth.
The Swearing-in of the 37 qualified Medical Doctors in the 10th Set (resit) of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma was held on the 11th August, 2016 at the Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Auditorium, of Ambrose Alli University.
The ceremony which kicked off at 11.00 a.m. had the families, friends, well-wishers, staff and students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in attendance.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. I.A. Onimawo has approved that the underlisted Staff of the University Secondary School be issued letters of commendation for the exemplary performances of the students they taught in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) in the 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 session.
The Vice-Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Prof. I.A. Onimawo has approved the publication of a quarterly magazine titled "AAU QUARTERLY MAGAZINE".
The magazine has the broad objective of being a platform for the dissemination of information, education and entertainment. The main aim is the recording of milestones, events and trends on economic, infrastructural, and socio-cultural development in the University. The magazine further aims at the reporting of activities of students, faculties, staff and other stakeholders.
