Emmanuel Ekundayo Omomoh was born on the 15th September 1957 at Olelo, Erah, Owan West Local Government Area of Edo state. He attended St Matthew Anglican Primary School from 1961 to 1966, and obtained the Primary School leaving Certificate. His humble beginnings and lack of sponsorship could not deter him. He pursued his ambition to become something in life by dint of personal effort. Between 1974 and 1976. He took part in several professional typewriting examinations and was successful. He took up appointment at Auchi Polytechnic and by 1976 had become Chief Typist. He took part in GCE O ’level examination as a private candidates and by 1981 had obtained 5 credits. He registered for the National Diploma (OND) programme in Accountancy in 1971 at Auchi polytechnic and bagged the OND in 1981. He registered for the Higher National Diploma (HND) programme in Accountancy (1981-1983) and bagged the HND in 1983. He did his NYSC (1983-1984) at Anambra state, teaching Account.
He enrolled for the Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration (1995-1997) and bagged his PGDPA in 1997 from Edo State University now Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. He did his Master’s in Business Administration from the same University from 1997-2000 and got his MBA in 2000. He capped it all with a Diploma in Computer Operation in 2003.
He joined the services of Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma on 7th November 1984 as Accountant II, Head, Expenditure Control section, and Head of Treasury Cash office, (Records and Revolution). He was promoted to Accountant I in 1987. Along with his duties in the cash Office, he was made the Accountant-in-charge of the University Consultancy Services Unit. He was promoted Senior Accountant in 1990; Principal Accountant 1993 and Head, Final Account; Chief Accountant in 1997 and Deputy Bursar in 2011.
Mr Emmanuel Omomoh has several professional qualifications, viz: Royal Society of Arts (RSA) Typewriting stage 125 w.p.m, 1974; Auchi Polytechnic Open Grading Test (OGT) Typewriting Stage II (1975) 35w.p.m; Auchi Polytechnic Open grading test, Typewriting stage iii 50 w.p.m (1975); RSA Typewriting stage iii 50 w.p.m Advanced (1975); Member Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) 1995; Member Institute of Cost Management (2003); Member Nigeria Institute of Management (2003); Associate Member, Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Nigeria (2007); Member, Financial Reporting council of Nigeria (2013); Fellow, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria.
He has two published Textbooks and several unpublished work,
He was appointed as Acting Bursar, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in November, 2020.
