AAU Ekpoma Tightens Security Measures

Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma has implemented new security measures to enhance safety on campus. Effective August 11, 2025, the university has restricted vehicular movement and nighttime activities.
According to Otunba Mike Aladenika, Principal Assistant Registrar and Head of Information and Public Relations, the measures include:
– No student-driven vehicles allowed on campus; students are expected to park outside and use shuttles.
– Vehicular movement restricted by 8:00 pm; pedestrian movement restricted by 9:00 pm.
The university has also fortified its security architecture with additional operatives. Students are advised to remain calm and safety-conscious.

Aladenika explained that these measures are necessary due to current security challenges and appealed for understanding despite potential inconveniences. Further directives will be issued to consolidate these security enhancements.

The university’s management aims to prioritize the safety and security of its community.
