BREAKING NEWS: AAU Ekpoma Appoints New Registrar

Mrs. Oluwayomi Omolegho Agbebaku has been appointed as the substantive Registrar of Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, according to a letter signed by the Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sunday Olowo Samuel on September 22, 2025.
The appointment letter, as disclosed by Otunba Mike Aladenika, Principal Assistant Registrar and Head of Information, Protocol, and Public Relations, states: “The Governing Council, at its 238th emergency meeting held on September 22, 2025, appointed you as the substantive University Registrar for a period of five years with effect from September 22, 2025.”
The appointment is in line with the University’s regulations and current practices in the Nigerian university system, as outlined in the University (Miscellaneous Provisions Decree, 1993 as amended).
Mrs. Agbebaku has since assumed duty as the new Registrar.
The Registrar serves as the Chief Administrative Officer, responsible for the day-to-day administration,as well as being the Secretary to the Council, Senate, Congregation, Convocation, and their committees.
