Department of Building

PROGRAMME PHILOSOPHY

The ideal of the program is to produce graduates who are equipped to design and build houses to the ultimate satisfaction of the clientele. The building program has as its fundamental objectives, the development and advancement of the science and practice of building technology. This can be achieved, through an intensive multi-disciplinary approach, which combines building production management with building surveying, building maintenance, construction management and materials science. It is expected that building graduates should be able to design, develop and apply available techniques and materials in the building process. Thereafter they can be registered by the Council for the Registration of Builders in Nigeria (CORBON)

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
