Foundation-Laying Ceremony of the Edo State Government-powered construction for the College of Medicine

Date: Monday, 17th March, 2026

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mrs. Eunice Eboiserehimen Omonzejie, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, staff, and students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, cordially invites the University Community and the general public to the Foundation-Laying Ceremony of the Edo State Government-powered construction for the College of Medicine.

The project comprises the construction of the following facilities:

1. Three (3) blocks of 500-capacity Lecture Theatres
2. Two (2) 300-bedspace capacity Medical Students’ Hostels
3. Twin 300-capacity Lecture Theatres

The ceremony will be held under the distinguished chairmanship of the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Dan Osi Orbih.

Date: Tuesday, 17th March, 2026
Time: 9:00 a.m. prompt
Venue: Proposed Lecture Theatre Site, opposite ICT, towards the University Library, Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria.

Members of the University community and the public are kindly enjoined to attend.
